Girl Up’s STEM for Social Good Tour is coming to you, virtually! This FREE 2.5-hour virtual event is aimed at young leaders ages 13-24.

Interested in architecture, urban design and sustainability? Intrigued by the drawing, design, planning, design and construction of buildings? Want to learn more about how we can use the design process to create lasting global change? Join this bootcamp to learn more about architecture, urban design and sustainability in the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region and design your own STEM-based solution for an urbanization problem in your community !

You can expect to better understand how women architects and urban planners are creating social impact and achieving sustainable development! This bootcamp focused on United Nations Sustainable Development Goals #4: Quality Education; #5: Gender Equity; and #11: Sustainable cities and communities, sustainable development. Join us to develop a STEM-centric solution for a problem in your community and learn how to apply for a $1000 project award to implement your initiative!

Looking for inspiration? This event will be filled with amazing female pioneers in the field of STEM speakers from the MENA region. The Girl Up MENA STEM for Social Good Bootcamp will run from 4:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. GMT+3 (Saudi Arabia time). This event will be held in English, with simultaneous interpretation into Arabic.

The content of the event is primarily aimed at young leaders aged 13-24 from/living in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and other countries in the MENA region. Space is limited so be sure to reserve your spot! Event attendees will receive a certificate of completion (Hint: this is a great thing to mention in future entries)!
